Flokati rugs have been a Greek tradition for centuries. The 5th century Vlachs invented the Flokati Rug. They used these rugs primarily as clothing and bedding for their tents, keeping them warm during the long winter months, but you can use then in any way you wish. They are available in many different grades. We have gone for a medium grade Flokati as we believe this weight represents a good balance. Heavy enough to use as a rug yet light enough to use as bedding or a throw or even a wall hanging.

All our Flokatis are Medium Grade, Wool Backed, 1400 grms per square metre, soft wool pile, Washable.
