Reindeer Rugs
Our Reindeer Skin Rugs are sourced from the Arctic regions of Finland and the make a beautiful addition to any home as a floor, bed, chair or wall covering. The blend of grey, cream, beige and brown colourings vary depending on the season and age of the animal so each skin is individual in its appearance. We photograph each hide so you know what you are buying. Reindeer fur is made up of hollow hairs providing unbeatable thermal insulation making these rugs an ideal choice beside a bed. Reindeer Rugs are more of a decorative item, It is not recommended that the rugs are placed in areas with high temperatures or have heavy traffic, as this will make the hair more brittle and prone to snapping. As with all deep pile products some shedding should be expected from these skins.
